ThePowerToChoose

...ahhh,a new post...differing perspectives have been in the thought pattern, for some time now,two or more sets of eyes on the same 'picture',will often result in as many different viewpoints...the old adage of two sets of eyes are better than one, doesn't always hold true, sure sometimes one needs another set of eyes,to 'see' a problem, they themselves can't correct...but that's really the only time...after that,it's all a matter of opinion...completely subjective...the old Ford versus Chevy thing...wheelgun or autoloader...rifle or shotgun...compound or recurve...the list is as endless as yer choices...sometimes yer choices themselves are limited, this presents the 'chooser' with a dilemma...it would be in the best of everyones' interest,to have as much information as available,to make an 'educated' decision...deciding to use brand X,because yer buddy has had good results, even tho you've only used brand Y...over simplified, but you get the picture...some call it word of mouth advertising...what ever you decide, the trick is to have as much information as you can gather, sometimes the information you gather is truly useless, sometimes the information may not seem important at that time, only to be applied when said information may be needed(then, thank God cuz you can remember a tip from Joe Schmoe,on how to use band-aids and bailing wire to fix that 747 with the tricky landing gear...lol)

...so,having choices is really the Freedom that most people long for,in my opinion,Freedom is Choice, and vice-versa...once again that's over simplified i know...but...

...so,in short, gain as much information as you can...about all things...whether or not you think it's applicable to any given circumstance...you never know when you may have to fix a certain problem and all you have is the knowledge you gained from someone elses fortune/misfortune...

...allow me this opportunity to opine,John Browning and Eugene Stoner are the greatest, from the Will of God,to the minds of them...Ford Bronco is the greatest truck on the planet(followed closely by the F-series...lol)...fried 'anything' is the best, followed closely by beans and bread...

...and when the going gets tuff,remember...the easy way is mined...

Great post buddy and so very true in and of its self. Sorry not been around in a while. Had an old drinkin buddy go by way of cancer last week and was out of town for the week. Came home to some work, even the kind that pays ya. Not done any of that in a while so it's good to be back in the work force if only for a few weeks. Take care Brother and I'll be back as time permits.

Freedom is choice and choice is freedom, Great! You are definitely an enabler because after reading about fried food, which I am trying to stay away from, I had to at least have french fries to get over it. I would have much rathered fried shrimp though, or hush puppies, or okra, or......

Truth well told Ken. Also we can glean info from almost anyone. You'd be surprised the things I learn from just idle chatter with my clients secretaries, receptionists, cleaners, security etc. The so-called 'lowly' workers, who no one has time for.

The info I get from these folks help me to position myself to better serve my clients needs, sometimes even before they are aware they need my services.

And all it takes is a little "hello, how are you?" sometimes. HUMINT is usually undervalued, outside of the intel community.

Thanks for dropping by, with your usual encouraging words.

BTW-I'm new to blogging, but have quickly discovered that's it's best to ignore the trolls (Anon), rather than feed them.
