..."hey paw,we going to arkansaw"?...

...starting out responding to Miss Aggie:from last posts comment a couple weeks ago...thanx for the well wishes neighbor, sure appreciate all yer blessings...

...and as the title says, might be movin' to arkansas, good job, great area, good schools, small town...around 1400 folks, give or take...west central part of the state, ouachita and caddo mountains, lots of lakes and streams...good land for a still good price, met lots of like minded God fearing folks, could be a good restart...

...anyway,start working for them next week, they'll put me up with room and board...i buy the hots, they buy the cots...after tomorrow nite, the next time i'll get back to my 'puter will be a few weeks while i perform my new responsibilities(wink, wink) no longer a boss(yet)...just a techie, teaching and leading a fledgling crew of newbies,in a new(to the company)plant with lots of new(to the company) machinery...has advancement potential...i'll run it in half a dozen years, maybe less,we'll have to see what kind of shape all this equipment is in before i get an accurate idea of how long it will take me...and surprise, surprise, surprise, that aint my finger!(oops, poor timing...lol,wrong joke...sorry)...and surprise, lots of molds coming back from mehico,a dozen from commie china, and a handful from somewhere in socialist europe...it appears the company can compete here in the states, what with the reduced standards of living,an deflated wages of late,it now appears stuff can actually be made here again...

...anyway Brothers and Sisters, keep Fightin'the GoodFight, shit aint gettin'better, shit aint gonna improve, except for a very small percentage of the population...sure would hate to be a fledgling prepper 'bout right now...buy guns, buy ammo,practice,practice,practice...yer spare funds to go to seed, rice, beans and band-aids...relocate yer caches often, trust no-one but the trustworthy...and remember to be polite,be courteous, but have a plan to kill everyone you meet...

...how many people think we'll make it to the next (s)election???

...how many folks could my new land support in the mountains ???(hill country really)...the world may never know!!!

Congratulations on the job, Ken.

Good luck to you and yours as you start the next chapter in your lives. I'll be keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. Take care of yourselves and keep us updated as time allows.

I'll have to take MayBerry's...oops Craig's(just can get to used to calling him by his given name.) word that Arkansas is pretty. I've never been and I've never looked it up on Google. Supposedly I have family in and around Little Rock, but I've never met them.

Oh well, I'm rambling so I'll leave you with lots of good wishes for your move.

Hugs to you and yours
~Fel~

I am glad to hear that things are looking up for you. My ex has a bit of family in Arkansas. It's the kind of country a guy could get purposely lost in. Praying for you brother!

Hey Fel! Arkansas has thick forests, mountains, nice lakes... When I came down I 30 years ago was like riding through a tree-tunneled roller coaster. Absolutely gorgeous...

Glad things are looking up for ya in Ark!

I may have to get a piece of land up in that direction...sure am tired of the Houston area, but that's where I'm needed at the moment!

We'll all be hoping for the best!

Ken I almost choked on my tea when I read the first line of your post. Thank you for letting me know your plans. The Ark is beautiful and I drive through all the time on the way to Missouri. I know you won't see this for a little while but good luck and keep updating when you can. I took great comfort knowing you were my neighbor to the north but it's great that you are off to greener pastures and a new adventure. Sorry I saw this later rather than sooner.
